KALB's First Alert Storm Team is launching a new, community outreach program called the "First Alert Weather Lab". Teachers and community youth organizations can now request a school visit from a team member of the KALB First Alert Storm Team.
There are two options for presentations, in-person or virtual sessions, and teachers can choose an option during the registration process. Students will learn about meteorology and the career choice of TV News. Each session will last approximately one hour, which includes a Q&A session with the weather team member.
